Our students look forward to the Fun Run every year!  This year's event is space-themed and sure to be out-of-this-world.  Every student gets a FREE Fun Run t-shirt, a race bib to automatically track their laps, a medal for participating in the race, and tasty orange slices from kind, produce vendors in our local community.

Each race heat starts on the hour at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m., with UTK starting at 8:15 a.m.  The speedsters start off with a short warm-up led by Coach D.  The students take their mark and do a "walking lap" around the course.  Once they complete an entire lap, they can choose to walk, jog, or run the rest of the race.  ​

Families and friends are welcome on campus to cheer students on!  Give them a big wave, a smile, a cheer... anything to keep them going to infinity and beyond!  A space-themed music playlist will blast our students into new fitness frontiers, curated by our stellar Media Lab instructor, Mr. Dev.  Post-race, each class will head to the lunch tables to hydrate and eat orange slices before heading back to their classroom for the remainder of the half day.
